2.4. Language Parameters

The next group of parameters consists of the language-specific ones; language parameters are also valid for all AddThis buttons and/or toolboxes that are displayed on a single web-page.

For all currently supported languages by AddThis, including their corresponding Two Letter Codes check this updated languages list.

The language parameters are the following:
Screenshot - Parameters: Language

  1. Here you can optionally enter the Two Letter Code of the language you want to explicitly use for the AddThis User Interface (UI). If you leave empty, the AddThis script will change the language automatically based on the visitor's browser language setting. (default: empty)
  2. The next 5 text fields can be optionally defined, in order to change some of the texts used by the AddThis buttons and/or toolboxes, apart from setting the default UI language; this can be extremely helpful if you're not satisfied with the AddThis translations for your language for instance. In the first field you can enter a text for "Bookmark & Share". (default: empty)
  3. In this field you can enter a text that will be used in place of "Email a Friend". (default: empty)
  4. Here you can enter a text for "Email". (default: empty)
  5. Here you can enter a text for "Favorites". (default: empty)
  6. And last but not least you can enter a text for "More". (default: empty)

Any of above texts can be used or just left empty in combination with the default UI Language.

hello and thanks for the great module!

But .... Everytime I make any changes to the 'custom' options for the toolbar I allways get the same thing; facebook, google, and the 'share' button. Using the services listed in the services directory doesn't seem to do anything. ...

I've tried everything and still no luck.

Thanks!

Quoting Chrysovalantis Mochlas:
Quoting Jonas:
...Im using the like buttons in a blog environment with many articles displayed on one page ( and x instances of the like button.

the problem is that all buttons have the same result when i press it. They dont feature the content of that specific article but the description of the parent site..

The module isn't appropriate for article based bookmarking, it always reads the current page's URL. What you need is the ValAddThis plugin.

thx for your answer.

have a look here please: whalewatchingsydney.com.au/.../

its working in there, but not in the normal blog view. www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au/.../

i think it doesnt work from inside the blog component?

Thank you for that great extension, works fine! But I've got a problem with the alignment. Whatever I set it to - the toolbox will always show up on the left. I use the module in my footer with { loadposition }. Can you help me?
