3. Known Limitations

One known limitation is that you cannot have at the same web-page AddThis button(s) with the parameter "Display on" set to "Mouse click" ("Mouse over" works just fine) and AddThis toolbox(es); this is because this parameter somehow hinders the proper function of some services icons of the toolbox, as for example the "email", "favorites" and "print". This isn't an issue of the module itself and thus it can't be fixed from me.

In addition, if you use the module together with the plugin ValAddThis (in case of a Toolbox), you should be aware there could be some issues with conflicting CSS styles; in order to bypass any conflict, use the available option with which you can deactivate the loading of any of the module's CSS files.

In addition, if you have questions about the capabilities and/or limitations of the AddThis button you can visit the website or the forum of AddThis.

4. Support

Support for the module ValAddThis is only free for my customers or donators of the module. If you need a one-time email support please make a donation by using the PayPal "Donate" button on the right hand side. Donators will be listed at the end of the documentation.

If you have any suggestions or found any bugs in the module, feel free to:

Please vote for the module at the web-page of Joomla Extensions. Thank you!

5. Download

You can download the latest version of the module ValAddThis from here or from the project's page at Google Code. There is also a version of the same module, with CSS rounded corners for the AddThis Toolbox styles, but it doesn't produce valid markup for CSS 2.1.

hello and thanks for the great module!

But .... Everytime I make any changes to the 'custom' options for the toolbar I allways get the same thing; facebook, google, and the 'share' button. Using the services listed in the services directory doesn't seem to do anything. ...

I've tried everything and still no luck.

Thanks!

For everyone who ask for support, please read the documentation first or previous comments. Support is not for free; use the PayPal donation button on the right hand side for a one-time email support. Thank you.

Quoting Chrysovalantis Mochlas:
Quoting Jonas:
...Im using the like buttons in a blog environment with many articles displayed on one page ( and x instances of the like button.

the problem is that all buttons have the same result when i press it. They dont feature the content of that specific article but the description of the parent site..

The module isn't appropriate for article based bookmarking, it always reads the current page's URL. What you need is the ValAddThis plugin.

thx for your answer.

have a look here please: whalewatchingsydney.com.au/.../

its working in there, but not in the normal blog view. www.whalewatchingsydney.com.au/.../

i think it doesnt work from inside the blog component?

Thank you for that great extension, works fine! But I've got a problem with the alignment. Whatever I set it to - the toolbox will always show up on the left. I use the module in my footer with { loadposition }. Can you help me?
