New Release of the Plugin ValAddThis

Today I released the new version 1.1.0 of the Joomla plugin ValAddThis. Visit the web-page of the plugin for a detailed documentation.

New in this version:

Added: options to choose different types of AddThis for the various Joomla layouts (article, category, section and frontpage).
Added: options to enable or disable the plugin display in Joomla categories and sections.
Added: option for a user-defined title text to be displayed next to the AddThis Toolbox.
Added: one more CSS file for the default Toolbox style.
Fixed: minor bug in the Toolbox code, which displayed an empty icon, even if no services were defined by the user.
Fixed: a couple of typos in the German translation file (thanks to Kurt from Austria).

Today I released the new version 2.0.3 of the Joomla module ValAddThis. Visit the web-page of the module for a detailed documentation.

New in this version:

Fixed: minor bug (typo) in the code.
Changed: the way the AddThis script is called; the AddThis script has a serious issue when it's called from within the <head> of a web-page and it caused an "operation aborted" error in versions of IE6 and below! The only workaround was to call the script in the <body> section of the page after the button/toolbox code.
